I wasn’t sure that we needed an educational advocate because we were already experienced with special education in our school district by the time our youngest child was in need of services.   However, after consulting with Meredith, I quickly realized that we could benefit from having her on our team.   I am an advocate in another field, so it wasn’t easy to let someone else take care of this task for my child, for me.  By doing so though, I was able to focus entirely on being my child’s parent and let Meredith handle the rest.  This took a load off my shoulders, the weight of which I didn’t fully realize until she picked it up.   Meredith is real.  She truly understands the struggle from the perspective of both the child and the parent.  She adapts to the needs of her clients and gets the job done compassionately, professionally and confidently. - MB

Meredith has been an invaluable resource in my daughters’ educational journeys. We first started working with her when my eldest was in kindergarten, and now, as a high school sophomore, she recently guided me through revising her 504 plan to better meet her current needs.

When my younger daughter began school, she struggled as a reluctant reader. Meredith’s guidance led me to have her independently evaluated for speech, and with evidence of her progress through outside therapy, I successfully advocated for the school to create an IEP to address her learning challenges. Most recently, Meredith has been instrumental in supporting her through algebra and managing test anxiety.

Meredith has been an amazing and understanding evaluator. We were looking for an evaluator that would understand unschooling but also be able to handle special needs cases if we needed one for our son with a speech delay and that's how we found Meredith.
